The National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) held their 32nd Annual Safety Forum in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in January, 2019.
NAARSO is a non-profit organization that provides education and resources to amusement industry safety professionals, and administers a certification program for amusement device inspectors. These Amusement Ride Inspectors represents jurisdictional agencies, insurance companies, private consultants, federal government agencies as well as safety professionals from amusement facilities and travelling shows.
Maritime Fun Group – PEI president Matthew Jelley received the following certifications while at NAARSO:
- AIMS Mechanic 1
- NAARSO Operations Level 1
- NAARSO Inspector 2
Maritime Fun Group certifications ensure that the company can continue to provide a safe experience for all guests. Overall, with safety being a top priority, it is important to stay up to date with industry standards in safety.
